The University Day-care Centre is managed by "Il Monello" Cooperative Society operating in childcare services in the territory of Caserta for over 30 years.
The Day-care Centre has been designed to support parents who work or study within the University, reconciling work-study-family life, thus creating equal opportunities and supporting parenting.

Matlab & Simulink software
The Vanvitelli University has signed a contract with MathWorks that provides students, professors and researchers access to the MATLAB, Simulink applications.
MATLAB is a development environment for numerical computing, statistical analysis and simulation, used in industry and universities throughout the world. Simulink is a graphical environment for multi-domain simulation and Model-Based Design, integrated with MATLAB.
The Campus-Wide license for University use includes products for analysis, design, modelling, simulation, code generation and product testing for applications in Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Medicine and Biology.

Discounts on Alitalia flights
The Vanvitelli University has signed an agreement with Alitalia under which students, teaching and administrative personnel can take advantage of discounts.
To obtain the benefits it is necessary to access through the University Centralized Authentication Service, with the same credentials used for all the University services.

From today, the new app created by the students of the Vanvitelli University for international students can be downloaded on the App store and Play Store.
An app through which students of the Vanvitelli University welcome all international students who are interested in carrying out a mobility activity with the University.
The App “Vanvitelli Students for International Students” offers a first meeting point to start a mobility activity with our University.
This project originates from the "Welcome International Students" competition promoted by the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, which gave Vanvitelli students the chance to stand out and create an App that could help foreign students during a mobility period within the University.
The aim of the competition was the creation of an app for mobile devices - to be developed in English - aimed at providing all the necessary information both before arrival and during the period of stay at our University.
Vanvitelli students have selected and inserted in the app the information of interest for foreign students and the pages of the University and/or Department sites where this information is or will be available.
An activity carried out by students for students aimed at strengthening the sense of belonging, hospitality and integration.

In recent years, there has been an increasing need to implement relations with companies within the University's third mission activities, which is subject to evaluation by the Italian national agency for the evaluation of universities and research institutes – ANVUR, together with teaching and research. With this in mind, the University offers companies and organizations various services aimed at promoting the matching of labour supply and demand, as well as opportunities for their contribution to the University's research activities, at taking part in the training of professionals in the field of research as well as to the establishment of grants and scholarships for graduates.

GET TO KNOW OUR STUDENTS
Companies and organisations may examine the curricula studiorum of students and graduates of the Vanvitelli University by registering on the AlmaLaurea platform, a database that collects the CVs of students and graduates of the University. After registration, companies will be able to carry out searches, using filters corresponding to the requirements sought for and directly download the complete CVs with all the necessary information. Companies may also consult CVs anonymously without registration; in this case, there is no indication of personal data. Once the ideal CV has been identified, the company can forward a request to the placement office by filling in an online form: the request is then sent via email and registered on the system.
PUBLISH JOB ADS
Registered companies will also have the opportunity to publish on the AlmaLaurea platform job or internship offers. In addition, they may also request the Student Activities Office - Ufficio Attività Studentesche, to pre-select candidates for traineeships or job offers and publish the positions offered on the University website.

Work Orientation, become part of the JOB365 PROJECT

The JOB365 project orients undergraduates, recent graduates, PhD students and PhD graduates of the Vanvitelli University on the possible career opportunities in line with their study programmes.
JOB365 organises professional orientation initiatives, representing the different facets of placement, with the dual purpose of offering concrete support to students/graduates/PhD students for their professional integration and creating an effective network with companies, to expand and consolidate the placement network currently present in the University.
Among the scheduled activities: work orientation sessions, meetings on topics of "business creation", company presentations and special events such as Job Festival, a two-day event that will take place on 9-10 November for students/recent graduates and companies.
WHO IS IT FOR?
The activities planned for the JOB365 project are addressed to students, graduates and PhD students of the Vanvitelli University, the main purpose is to offer the tools to better face the entry into the world of work, and, at the same time, create an effective network with businesses.

Rosetta Stone platform

The University, through the Rosetta Stone platform, offers complete and free language courses for students, professors and administrative staff.
You can choose among 25 languages, from British English, to American English, French, German, Chinese, Russian, etc..
You can start a course by following these simple steps:
- You must use your unicampania email credentials;
- Remember that you will need headphones and a microphone!
- Choose the language you want to study, you can change your choice by accessing the profile at the top right (My Profile) and selecting the "Change Language" link
- Once you have chosen the language, you will be offered a short questionnaire to tailor the teaching to your needs, and then you will begin the language level test.

Wi-Fi
What is it?
The Wi-Fi service guarantees wireless connection of all the University spaces used by, to increase their sense of community and promote innovation in teaching.
The University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli has also joined the Eduroam federation (Education Roaming), students will be able to access the Eduroam federated network by using the same credentials used to access the wireless Wi-Fi network.
Users belonging to the Eduroam roaming service are able to use the local wireless network (WLAN) using their same credentials (username and password) even when they visit another institute in Italy or in the world that joins the initiative, without the need for further formalities at the host institution.
Areas
The creation of the Wi-Fi data transmission system is part of the effort that our University is developing in improving student services. All authorized subjects will be able to connect to the university data network with a wireless connection and, through their own devices (PC, tablet, smartphone, etc...), will be able to access the services provided by the University starting from e-mail and access to their career.
Adhesion to the EDUROAM network is a new initiative that the University made in order to share resources useful for improving life and university education with the desire to offer an innovative and functional service.
How does it work?
The Wi-Fi service has technical features that safeguard network security and user performance; recently it has been restructured and enhanced to ensure efficiency, simplification and security for students, professors and staff.
