The course integrates humanistic and technical scientific skills to create a unique and complete figure capable of interacting and managing the development of new concepts and products for sectors that characterize design and "Made in Italy".  Scientific training in the field of materials (from plastics to advanced materials) helps to enhance the figure of the designer in any field of design. Through training, students will also be able to provide design skills related to the organization of commercial spaces and exhibition areas. The First Cycle degree in "Fashion Design” prepares project technicians to capably perform all the technical and design activities that lead from design to production of products for the market. Graduates must promote innovative processes of the constantly evolving scenarios of the production system of fashion-oriented companies. In particular, students must be able to express their competence in all product design phases, in the awareness of the cultural and symbolic dimension of the fashion industry. Starting from the first year, students will have a direct contact with design-oriented companies of the “Made in Italy” with which they can operate in the field of accessory design, textile design, brand design, interior design and design of fashion spaces, packaging design and trend design, design for cosmetics and goldsmith design.

The Single Cycle Degree Course in "Building Sciences and Techniques" trains professionals cooperating in the analysis, design, maintenance and adjustment of works, and the management of processes and construction sites on the building, urban and territorial scale. 

In relation to these activities, the course will provide the specific skills regarding the analysis of the relation between project and construction, as well as support activities for architectural, technological, structural, urban planning, organization and management of construction sites. 

The graduate's training is mainly addressed to the intervention on the built environment with objectives of safety, efficiency, quality and building redevelopment. Particular attention is given to the project at the feasibility levels: technical, legal and economic, environmental.

The course aims to train professionals able to play an important role in the generation of innovative processes within the company and production dynamics; graduates will have to provide their skills for the transfer to design oriented companies of specialized expertise, capable of developing significant innovations in the design of tangible and intangible products. The master’s degree Course in "Architecture - Regeneration of Built Environment (ARBE)", entirely held in English, welcomes both Italian and foreign students and trains architects capable of providing culturally and technically appropriate answers to the challenges of the next future: first of all, those related to climate change and reduction of soil consumption, that represent a priority goal today, not only in Europe. To this end, the course provides the theoretical and technical skills needed to design, implement and manage regeneration interventions on existing buildings and urban fabrics, with specific attention to those built during the second half of the twentieth century. Especially in the last year, in addition to traditional courses, seminars, advanced courses and alternative training prepare students to analytically deal with texts, historical moments and major works of Occidental culture.

The Master Degree Programme in Archaeology and History of Art aims to combine the traditional training of the archaeologist and the art historian with new technical-scientific notions suitable for the protection and enhancement of a widespread cultural heritage. The course provides students with different skills based on the chosen curriculum:

Archaeological: advanced knowledge of the History of Art from Prehistory to the Middle Ages of museum and archaeological heritage management and organization, of the direct recognition techniques, photo interpretation, detection and advanced knowledge necessary on the excavation field and protection of finds.

The training course includes two curricula, one that develops the technical aspects mostly addressed to aerospace and the other with a wider technical background in the sectors that characterize mechanics.

The Degree programme in Biomedical Engineering trains graduates with a solid interdisciplinary technical-scientific background. The First Cycle Degree Course in Civil, Building and Environmental Engineering is aimed at providing the basic knowledge required today, and also in the future, by the labour market, for professionals operating in the fields of construction, infrastructure and civilian settlements on the territory.

The programme, divided in three curricula (Civil, Construction and Environmental), mainly aims to prepare graduates for their access, without training debts, to the master's degree programmes in Civil Engineering and in Engineering for Energy and the Environment provided by the Department of Engineering of the Vanvitelli University. Alternatively, the degree also prepares for direct placement into the world of work.

The First Cycle Degree Course in Electronic and Computer Science Engineering forms graduates with a solid interdisciplinary scientific technical preparation. The training activities in basic sciences (Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry and Computer Science) allow the student to acquire adequate training to successfully undertake engineering studies. This knowledge is acquired above all in the first year and in the first semester of the second year. Thereafter, the main disciplines in the fields of Electronic and Computer Science Engineering are presented. In the last year, the student can decide upon one of the three curricula:  "Electronics", "Biomedics" and "Computer Science", with which the student can acquire, through specific teaching groups and laboratory activities, a more complete training with specific skills in the corresponding disciplines and applications.

The general aim of the Degree programme is to train engineers with strong multisector and transversal skills compared to the traditional fields of industrial engineering with a good knowledge of the problems and methods of organization and management of production and logistics processes in particular, energy management and of industrial automation.

The Degree Programme in Techniques for Construction, Territory and Environment prepares, through a three-year professionalizing training, graduate surveyors,  who can immediately enter the world of work, without  necessarily going through a Master's Degree Course.

The programme, carried out in close cooperation with the Provincial Board of Surveyors and Graduate Surveyors of Caserta - ANCE Caserta, and Confindustria Caserta, trains professionals in accordance with the new standards of the professions, which are being prefigured following recent EU directives which are about to be implemented by our legal system.

Aim of the course is to train professionals with a solid methodological background, integrated by a specific technical training, ability to cooperate and coordinate with experts in specific sectors, ability to independently develop projects, the analysis and verification of the operation of electronic components and systems. Students may also carry out an internship at university laboratories, research institutions and qualified companies, to bring students closer to the work environment, in which they can use the acquired skills and actively participate in work groups.

The aim of the Second Cycle Degree in Computer Science Engineering is to train professionals able to face and solve problems in businesses and public administrations, which require complex and innovative IT solutions. The course aims to achieve this goal through a training programme, which, starting from a solid theoretical and scientific preparation acquired during the first cycle degree, provides students with all the necessary skills for the design, implementation and management of systems, processes and services relating both to specific areas of the ICT sector, and to any other context in which information technologies play a central role. The Degree Course in Civil Engineering is aimed at acquiring the most up-to-date technical-professional skills  required by the job market  in the construction sector, civil networks and infrastructures, and civil settlements in the territory.

The programme is organised in three curricula (Infrastructures and Civil Structures, Construction, Territorial Protection), through which students will be guided in the development of studies, plans, programmes and projects concerning hydraulic, geotechnical, structural and transport engineering; in the learning of methods and technologies for the redevelopment of cities; in the planning and implementation of interventions for the protection of natural resources and for the mitigation of hydrogeological risk.

The First Cycle Degree Course in Psychological Sciences and Techniques provides the basic, characterizing knowledge of the psychological disciplines. 

After completing a professional internship and passing the state exam, graduates will be qualified as type B psychologists and will be able to carry out activities related to the design, implementation and evaluation of interventions in a variety of professional contexts. 

Alternatively, graduates can choose to continue their education by enrolling in the master's degree in Psychology, a qualification valid for qualification as a type A psychologist.

The Second Cycle Degree Programme in Applied Psychology to Institutional Contexts provides a training course aimed at forming students with the psychological skills necessary to intervene in legal, scholastic, work, community, socio-political and social health contexts. The course of study is also aimed at the training of psychologists who intend to carry out the profession or continue training as psychotherapists.

The Second Cycle Degree Programme in Dynamic Clinical Psychology is aimed at training graduates to perform interventions centred on the person through psychological diagnosis and counselling, as well as interventions aimed at alleviating the psychic suffering. This involves acquiring the competence to conduct clinical interviews and to draft protocols, to administer psychodiagnostic tests, and to manage the taking charge of the discomfort. Graduates must also have acquired the ability to plan and conduct research activities in the various fields of clinical psychology, as well as to evaluate their effectiveness.

Teaching is based on the integration of classroom delivery of individual course units with interactive, practical learning and training tools (role-playing, discussion of clinical cases, simulations, internships, workshops).Lectures and laboratory exercises enhance students' critical skills, the effectiveness of their study is  assessed with the in progress evaluation tests and with the final thesis.

Both offer advanced theoretical and methodological tools for the study of cognitive processes, neuropsychology, the psychological basis of behavioural disorders and models and techniques of psychological intervention.

The "Cognitive Neuroscience" programme offers specifically: - methodological and technical skills in the diagnosis and psychological rehabilitation of the patient with brain damage; - methodological and technical skills in the diagnosis and psychological rehabilitation of cognitive disorders related to aging.

The "Cognitive Psychology" programme offers specifically: - methodological and technical skills in experimental research on the mechanisms that underlie normal and pathological cognitive functioning; - methodological and technical skills in the field of human resource management, ergonomic evaluation and design, environmental psychology, and organizational psychology.

The first cycle degree course in Biotechnology aims to enable students to acquire expertise in various biotechnological disciplines.

The course includes basic scientific training in mathematical, chemical and physics disciplines to enable students to develop the skills, cognitive and technical tools for the theoretical-experimental study of biological phenomena.

Subsequently, students will have a basic biological training phase to enable the acquisition of the cognitive and technical skills required to study biological phenomena at the molecular, cellular and tissue levels. They will also acquire technical skills to use biological systems aimed toward the production of goods and services, with particular regard to applications in the industrial, medical, pharmaceutical, environmental and alimentary fields.

The First Cycle Degree Course in Environmental Sciences is a multi - and interdisciplinary course aiming to provide students with a significant mastery of both basic knowledge (mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology) and general scientific methods, and specific specialised skills, in the fields of Earth Sciences, Ecology, Biology, Soil Science, Environmental Plant and Law.

The Second Cycle Degree Course in Molecular Biotechnology is designed to provide the cultural background of multidisciplinary biotechnologies for the production of goods and services using biological systems. In particular, the course prepares skilled graduates in the field of biotechnologies specialised in the study, prevention and diagnosis of human diseases, with particular regard to the development of innovative drugs.

The Master programme provides interdisciplinary classes applied to various fields of molecular biotechnology, with emphasis on research, diagnostics and therapy. The Second Cycle Degree programme in Food and Human Nutrition Sciences is aimed at training experts in research and development on food quality and human nutrition.

The training course provides for the acquisition of solid knowledge on: raw materials and their genetic characterization; structure and function of organic compounds of alimentary interest; nutritional, sensory, microbiological and toxicological quality of foods and their shelf life; sanitary aspects; biotechnological tools for the preparation of functional food, post-harvest conservation technologies; microbiological control and food safety for functional purposes. The course also includes a training in disciplines of human nutrition.

The principles of nutritional needs in relation to age and metabolic diseases of greater social impact and on the therapeutic level, the importance of diet, food fibres and natural antioxidants will also be treated.

The course aims to provide an adequate knowledge of the main environmental issues for the analysis and management of the territory and of the entire environment system.

The single-cycle five-year degree course in Pharmacy allows access to the professional qualification that authorizes the profession of Pharmacist and to conduct other professional activities aimed at controlling the production process of medicines from their production to the final use by patients.

The degree course in Pharmacy aims to provide a set of theoretical and practical knowledge in the chemical, biological, pharmaceutical, technological, pharmacological and toxicological fields.

Graduates will have knowledge of pharmacoepidemiology and pharmacovigilance, aspects that are increasingly required for the proper use of drugs in the population. Other areas studied in depth are represented by research and development, useful for the formulation of new drugs.

The First Cycle Degree course aims to train professionals in the tourism sector, both public and private, with specific skills for the enhancement of cultural tourism and tourism in general. 

The training course involves the development of professional experiences of practical nature, which will give the knowledge necessary to be able to: 

develop projects in relation to the main lines of public planning both at national and community level;

The Health Assistance degree programme prepares graduates for the Healthcare Assistant profession. This professional profile is outlined by Ministerial Decree no. 69 dated 17 January 1997 and subsequent amendments and additions.

It is a three-year degree programme, carried out conventionally and in Italian, with a set number of students. To access the programme, it is necessary to pass an initial selection. The number of students admitted is determined annually on the basis of the resources and needs jointly defined between the Vanvitelli University, the Campania Region and the State-Regions Conference, and established by a joint decree of the Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and the Ministry of Health.

The course must guarantee: the achievement of the professional skills aimed at assisting children and women from childbirth; the planning, management and evaluation of paediatric nurses’ autonomous interventions in physiological and preventive care spheres, and in collaboration with the specialist in pathological situations, the participation in paediatric health education interventions both in the family and in the community, the preparation and assistance of paediatric surgery and in neonatal care programmes with particular attention to the assistance of premature births and low weight infants cared for by specific neonatal intensive care facilities.

The course is a three-year study programme, with a set number; students must pass a national admission test and provides for the acquisition of 180 University Credits. The required number of exams is 20. The final exam qualifies for the practice of Biomedical Laboratory Technician. The first Cycle Degree Course in Therapy of Neural and Psychomotricity of the Evolutionary Age prepares professionals specialized in the rehabilitation therapy of children from birth to 18 years of age. The course lasts three years and ends with a final exam qualifying to practice the profession.
